Event Producer/Designer and Manager, La Tonya Washington of LW Special Events Management, has an artistic eye and a soft, warm touch that allows her to take her client’s raw visions for events as well as their budgets into account and transform them into dramatic, scene stealing affairs with personality. Ms. Washington also strategically handles the day-to-day affairs of clients who need care in the management of tours, recordings and/or seminars. "We prepare the way for our clients and take their business seriously" says Ms. Washington. LW Special Events has a passion for creating affairs with a modern yet unique sparkle. La Tonya understands that some of life’s most intimate and memorable moments happen at special events so she and her team work tirelessly to ensure the success of all events she undertakes. She is the producer of Shades of Beauty, Real Talk The Movement and The Pink Lipstick Lounge.

Ms. Washington is a graduate of Youngstown State University and also attended the UCLA Extension Program in Public Relations, specializing in fund raising and special events. She has worked on projects with and for Multi-Platinum Recording Artist, Jay King, the mastermind behind Club Nouveau; Grammy Award Nominee Jazz Guitarist, Doc Powell; Stellar and Dove Award Winner, Kurt Carr; The Right Connection Entertainment Group President, Ms. Elle Jai; Fashion Couture Designer to the Stars, Danielle Kelly; and Celebrity Hair Stylist, Da Rico Jackson, just to name a few. She is on the Board of Directors for PDA Cares, a Nonprofit 501 (c) 3 Organization; Board of Advisors for Tiffany Bradshaw and Company Marketing Agency; Leadership Council for Designing Women in the Community Los Angeles and Saks Fifth Avenue Ambassador for CJ Jeans, the Blue Jean Line for Cookie Johnson.

LW Special Event Planning and Management Company takes pride in making sure clients receive hands-on attention and dedication. Ms. Washington believes, "if you are in this business, you must have a love for people, management skills with a mindset to serve." She also believes that an event is a reflection of the person putting it together, therefore one should always pay attention to the smallest of detail.

LW Special Event Planning and Management Company specializes in catered events, galas, themed birthday parties/anniversaries, seminars, network gatherings. The company is strong in negotiation, PR, budgeting, staff and production management.

Lauren is my right hand during events and whatever is needed, she makes sure that particular detail is handled properly. She is currently working on her Masters in Sociology at the University of Southern California.

KIM STEWART, Chief Event Host
Kim is by far one of the best hosts you would ever want to meet and have on your team. She makes you feel right at home, comfortable and at ease. She leaves an event attendee feeling like a million dollars and that they were the only one that mattered.

Desarae Johnson, Events Coordinator
Desarae is responsible for the logistics that go into preparation of an event and providing the vision and concept. She is well-organized, innovative and knowledgeable on the happenings of social entertainment.
